Yongnuo YN585EX-P is the first compact flash of this manufacturer that is specifically compatible with the Pentax P-TTL automated exposure system. The strobe has a GN of 58 @ 105 mm (meters, at ISO 100) and has automatic (P-TTL auto) and manual power control as well as stroboscopic (MULTI) function and two remote trigger modes via light impulse (S1 and S2).
Yongnuo YN585EX has all additional functions typical for the original Pentax speedlights: FEL, FEB, FEC, 1st/2nd Curtain Sync, AF assist. light. The model does not support HSS (Hi-Speed Sync). You can trigger the YN585EX remotely from a Pentax AF-360FGZ или AF-540FGZ II Master Flash.
The power output of the Yongnuo YN585EX is adjusted between 1/1 and 1/128 (7 EV) with a 1/3 EV step and the adjustable motorized zoom head covers focal distance between 20 and 105 mm (with the built-in disperser — down to 14 mm), съотнесено към 1.5× crop. Charge recycle time is approx 3 seconds after maximum pulse power.
The YN585EX for Pentax supports future firmware updates via USB port. It is equipped with a desk stand, soft transport case and user guide and comes with 24 months warranty.
